So that was the summer…

Last time I logged on to this blog was in was mid-July – what happened? Well, the festival happened, and holidays happened, and time and kids and chickens happened and somehow it is now September and the potatoes are harvested and the leaves are turning red.

No point in reeling off everything I’ve written about between then and now, but there are a few things I’d like to highlight – including a Herald feature and a List album review for local cult-pop hero Adam Stafford, and reviews of some fab summer albums by Jonnie Common, the Japanese War Effort and the Fruit Tree Foundation.

I also spoke to sick FOUND offshoot River of Slime, alt-rock icon Kristin Hersh and I revisited an old interview with James Yorkston.

I’ll endeavour to update this again before winter.
